Amazing grace.

My devotions for yesterday and today were regarding God's salvation through grace,by faith alone. And these were the two passages : Ephesians 2 and Romans 3.
I found it abit..*dont know how to complete the sentence lol* But yeah.It was amazing to be reminded of His salvation,His grace that saved me. and from the bottom of my heart,thank God for that salvation that comes by grace. Because by works,i and all of mankind would have failed very miserably. In this world where there's no such thing as "Yours for free!" ,yet the most important and awesome thing that there could possibly be is free. An open gift,an open invitation,an open hand that reaches out to us and all we have to do is say 'yes' and believe and follow that hand.So simple, yet how amazing and uncomprehensible is that gift. And all because He first loved us.First chose to die and suffer for us while we were still sinners.First reached out to us and call us to come to Him and be called His own. So amazing is this amazing grace that there will never be enough words in all of the human vocab to fully describe or comprehend it.

Just to share this verses that really struck me when i 'accidentally' saw and read it:

Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, "So shall your offspring be."Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah's womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. - Romans 4:18-21

ah yes.i hope i remember that always and start to live by it.Because i know many times i dont.

Sigh. Have u ever tried to fix something, but in the end only to make things worse? (ALOT worse).Oh yeah. I sure did.like..yesterday. SIGHS. One thing i learnt..NEVER EVER mess with technical stuffs ever again,especially when it comes to modems and routers which is about as essential as food and water here in cheras. Not to mention,i managed to trouble other people in the process.So sorry my dear housemates for dragging u gurls into this mess..really sorry.
argh.if only i could turn back time. Okay nvm. Just hope things will work out ASAP.

Ahh.And it's finally over. American Idol Season 7. Definitely my most fav season ever. The season where i really cared for many of the contestants..the season where i looked fwd to watching most every week and IMO,the season with the most talent and interesting personalities. Loved the results show tonight btw..*and thank goodness i managed to succesfully avoid all possible spoilers till i watched it at 7pm :D*
Absolutely loved having michael johns performing on stage again and i just loooooved the One Republic and David A duet.Wished he did that song during the show. oh and not forgetting the Gladys Knight audition HAHA.Robert Downey Jr aka Iron Man?! Now THAT was unexpected lol. and how could i miss out.. "I AM your brotherrrr...your best friend foreverrrrr" HAHA

Oh well, now that its all over with, Congratulations to David Cook for being the new American Idol and also to dear David Archuleta
who is equally a winner himself. Both of them will certainly go far :) Cant wait for their albums to be out! :D GAah. House AND American Idol finished their run in the same week? -.- Looks like all i'll have to entertain myself with in the coming weeks is my books -.-

David A,you will always be my american idol :P :)

Tonight's AI 7's season finale was good.Really enjoyed it. Both Davids did a fantastic job but as Simon said regarding David A's performance, "That was a knockout." As bias as i may sound *cough* i just have to say that David A looked like he wanted to win more badly.He sang his heart out!And as someone mentioned somewhere online, "when he sang Imagine he was like..'This is It.' and it was perfect". Of course i'll still give props for DC.I really liked his 2nd song, 'Dream Big'.i think that was my fav performance from him.
Fantastic final performances for a great season :)

Overall, they're both winners anyway irregardless of who gets the title tmr.

House

For all faithful followers of the House series, you MUST catch season 4's finale ASAP.
I seriously dont remember ever shedding ANY tears for the past 4 seasons of House i've followed. I definitely remember alot of laughing but no crying. and man today i cried till i had to blow my nose after i've finished -.-
This season's finale was seriously..."owning"(Jolyn Ong, 2008) lol. Maybe its because after 4 seasons,ive identified with the characters so well. but it was seriously heart wrenching. not sappy sad, but heartbreaking sad.and lets just say the sight of House shedding tears for the first time ever is in itself..shocking? Ahh. Best season finale ever.

by the looks of this season's ending, next season is gonna be veryy interesting. But..7 more months till then? you gotta be kidding me.grr.
