Weehoo?

HELLO. I'm back. Surprised? yes, very right. haha.
So i've just shifted to my temporary place on sat..tiring, tiring day. In the afternoon i was already energy-less and was walking like a zombie haha. But we've finally settled in and i'm quite loving the current place now hahah.just have to get used to the climbing up and down the stairs thing though but all is good. Didn't get to say goodbye to my old place though lol and Becky was super bengang and lost when she was er transferred here the other day lol.

So today I came back to cheras...not for classes. I didn't reach back in time haha but it was quite an eventful day nontheless..the haardos joe,adrian and ceat came down and we had an early surprise bday celebration for wun..

Well.Im actually here to update a liiiiil bit on my current,lovely uni life.(so exciting right,i know.) So i have a quiz this sat, another one next wed, an assgmt which i havent touched due in 11 days, another assgmt i havent touched due in 17 days, lab reports every week, a mid term paper on the 4th next month and a final paper the week after. Now,isnt that fun?! HAHA. okok,i shall spare u guys from further details of my interesting life.
Why do I always think short sems arent that bad before they start -.-

anyway, i'll be on a hiatus. Until...further notice.haha! okay maybe after the 11th of Oct(MAYBE) and if i do drop by before then,well thats a bonus :P Am planning to do some changes as well,but i'll see how it goes.

As for now, i have to take my bath.yes,at midnight. No presents for guessing what i was doing earlier.and no,i was not partying online -.-

Wanted to post this up yesterday actually when i first saw it on nally's facebook.


Thank God for this people. for the cf. my life in uni would be much more dull without them. In fact,i can't even imagine life in uni without cf.
Its always difficult to have commitments.at least,for me. But somehow each time I look back, I'm glad i was a part of it all. So, thank You.for giving me the opportunities even when i complained,struggled or was ungrateful about it.

WALL·E, Dreamgirls, The Other Boleyn Girl

So I've been wanting to catch Wall E since it came out in the US like months ago and I had quite some-but-not-too-high expectations for this movie..well, if i were to describe this movie in one word,it would be.. Cute. Not that its a bad thing,its good! lol. why cute?cause thats the first word that will come to mind whenever i think of Wall E-the cutest most cutest robot ever.even cuter than R2D2 lol! Story wise, I have to say that its not the best of the pixar productions but its really good storytelling as well..and i think its the first pixar movie to like..have an emphasis on both robots and the entire human race which is pretty cool :) Character wise,what can i say..they are all just SO dang adorable(the robots i mean..the humans..er.i'll leave that to you) and c'mon..if they can make robots falling in love seem so believable,i think that alone deserves some credit :) The animations are top notch seriously..that's one thing abt pixar i really love(ok its very obvious im a pixar fan lol) besides their brilliant storytelling is their animation skills which are breathtaking. However,some people may find the film a lil draggy or boring at the beginning cause for the first few mins, there are literally no dialogue but I was somehow so absorbed by Wall E and Eve's(Eeeevaah!) cuteness i guess it didnt felt that way for me :P So, would i recommend the show? Yes. Go watch it. Because its definitely alot better than alot of other crappy shows out there these days haha.
Talking abt pixar..i just had a random idea of rating all the pixar movies. its fun!LOL. so here's my list in order of most to least favs:

Dreamgirls

HAha!Quite an old movie i know but i only watched it for the first time on Astro few days back.
I guess this show was mostly known for Jennifer Hudson's brilliant acting.yeah,after watching this film,I can certainly see why she won that best supporting actress oscar.she definitely can act.and sing too.haha.indeed,you dont have to win AI to win an oscar lol. Besides that,the rest of the cast did a great job..abit..rare to see Eddie Murphy acting a serious role though LOL. but anyway,i love the songs from this film!Especially 'Listen' by beyonce.The character development was pretty good and its not one of those shows where i'll say i've wasted 2 hrs of my life on haha. But for me,the main star of the movie was definitely jennifer hudson. Overall, nice movie.

Rating: 7.5/10


The Other Boleyn Girl


I briefly heard abt this movie some time ago and while at my uncle's place the other day, he had this dvd so I thought of giving it a try. I have a soft spot for period dramas anyway i dont know why haha. Anyway,this movie's based on Phillipa Gregory's best selling novel abt two sisters, Anne and Mary Boleyn and their relationship with King Henry. Anne Boleyn in real life was the mother of the famous Queen Elizabeth I of England. After some researching on IMDB, i found out that the story is mostly fictional(the names of the characters are real) and the real history of the 3 main characters and other characters are very different than what was potrayed in the film. However, I did enjoy the film.It got pretty low ratings at imdb and alot people didnt like it cause of the film's inaccuracy,rushed storyline,etc but yeah,i enjoyed it. I think i just really enjoy period films..lol.i love the costumes and their tradition and stuff and I enjoy learning or getting to know the history of royal families like that of the characters in this film..now,THIS is the kind of history that really interests me..not those i learn from my secondary school textbook.cough. anywayy, maybe im bias but well..the acting was decent and although some may say the storyline is very rushed i guess i didnt notice it cos perhaps i would prefer it to be a little quick rather than the scenes dragging on forever(good example:me and jac fell asleep watching Elizabeth:The Golden Age) but then the character development part would have to be sacrificed i guess.So perhaps viewers won't feel as much for the characters. I think generally girls will enjoy this movie more haha. But overall, enjoyable movie.Not a masterpiece but enjoyable on an entertainment level.

So the other day,jac came down from subang and i picked her from the station and wun on the way to aeon..did some shopping..watched wall E(review of that later) and got cal 3 tops..anyway,we were planning to go at abt 8+ but then got delayed and ended up reaching there abt 9 and what do you know...we were the earliest(excluding relatives and neighbours) to arrive. lol. the party reeeally started abt 12 and by then we had to leave.haha. ok pics time
