Iron Man

Weehee! Good thing i managed to catch Iron man with my family yday on the very last day of my hols. Needless to say,this movie is one of the many major blockbuster summer movies this summer and I was really looking fwd to watching it and had quite a high expectation obviously. Glad to say,i was not disappointed. This movie is just...COOL.way cool! The CGIs,actions scenes and special effects were really nice eye candy. But, this superhero movie isnt just all action and no substance. There is really good character development and i loved the witty humor and dialogue, not forgetting the chemistry btwn Tony Stark and his assistant, Pepper Potts. Robert downey Jr. has been out of the radar for quite some time before this and i have to say,he certainly did not let down.Played the role to perfection..smart casting choice from the director! Certainly one of the must-watch movies this year..It already has a 94% rating at rottentomatoes and has beat Spiderman to be the highest rated superhero movie so far. Certainly among one of the best superhero movies, alongside spidey. And safe to say,there'll most prob be a sequel (Stay back after the credits for a suprise)
Talk about an explosive start to the season of blockbuster summer movies! :D
